 # Privacy Policy — Aesthetic Timer

Aesthetic Timer ("the app") is a desk clock, alarm and hourly chime app for

Android. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the

app.

## Information the app collects

The app itself does **not** collect, store, or share any personal

information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics run by the

developer.

Your settings (clock theme, alarms, chime preferences, city name) are stored

**only on your device** and are deleted when you uninstall the app.

## Weather feature

If you enter a city name for the LCD clock theme, that city name is sent to

the Open-Meteo weather service (https://open-meteo.com) to look up the

current temperature. No account, device identifier, or precise location is

sent — only the city name you typed. Open-Meteo's privacy policy applies to

that request. If you leave the city field empty, no weather request is ever

made.

## Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads served by **Google AdMob**, a third-party advertising

service provided by Google. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect:

- Device identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID)

- IP address and coarse location derived from it

- Ad interaction data (views, clicks)

- General device information (model, OS version)

This collection is performed by Google under its own policies:

You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ads

personalization in your device settings under

**Settings → Google → Ads**.

The app also offers an optional rewarded ad. Watching it removes all ads

until midnight; this preference is stored only on your device.

## Permissions the app uses

- **Notifications / exact alarms** — to ring your alarms and play the hourly

  chime at the exact time, even when the app is closed.

- **Internet** — to load ads and (optionally) fetch the temperature for the

  city you entered.

- **Vibration** — for alarm vibration.

- **Wake lock / keep screen on** — to keep the clock visible while the app

  is open.

## Children

The app is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under

13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone,

including children.

## Data retention and deletion

The developer holds no user data, so there is nothing to request or delete

on a server. All app data lives on your device and is removed by

uninstalling the app. For anything related to data collected by Google

AdMob, see the Google links above.

## Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated and the new

version published at the same address, with an updated effective date.
